Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. She graduated cum laude from The University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in Communications and theater. Following her move out of Missouri and into Los Angeles in 2004, she took part in theater arts. She was involved in acting and producing more than 20 musicals. A few of the productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly began landing television and film roles as she continued to study in improvisation and in the group The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Kelly's distinct voice and diminutive stature have allowed her to play a variety of character types. Her name was well-known to the general public for playing the role of the evil Samara along with Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. In reality, she is better known as the cheerful and bright receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Between 2011 and 2015, Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party night hopper as a Series regular for The TV Land sitcom The Exes. Alyssa Mio's charming sexpert her little sister, was Kelly's frequent role in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW included her in the role of an exhausted suburban mom. Her fame is based on the soprano singing voice she has in numerous cartoons. These include Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. The most recent appearance was that of the dim and lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC the hit show Superstore. She is married with two children and lives in a quiet home. She enjoys writing, sew and volunteer at school.
