Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career, including the two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009, as well as the Luna Award. In addition to this, Anne Curtis Smith was also nominated for five PMPC Star Awards. She was also nominated twice for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis was a part of a variety of TV shows, such as Hiram kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. She played the cult Komiks role of Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles she has held include hosting the popular midday show It's Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis, born on 17th February 1985 in Australia and the Philippine, is an actress TV presenter, entrepreneur and recording artist. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career including two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. Additionally she has also been recognized for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards and 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis was a part of a number of TV series, such as Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. In 2014, she played the famous Komiks Dyesebel character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she has been the presenter on the popular noontime variety show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father had been engaged to Ojales by 1982. Jasmine's younger sister is an actor was her father. The father of the couple had one half sister, known as Clare who died in 2007 aged just four months, due to a heart disease.
