Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career, including the two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009, as well as the Luna Award. Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father had been engaged to Ojales by 1982. Jasmine's younger sister is an actor was her father. The father of the couple had one half sister, known as Clare who died in 2007 aged just four months, due to a heart disease.
