Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division in the UFC. Shevchenko was absent from MMA so that she could focus on kickboxing. She made her comeback with a win against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa by a majority vote and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. Following the league's dissolution in 2018, Shevchenko was a part of Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized her fighting skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was given the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious in the unanimous decision, but lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi on an undisputed split decision. Antonina recovered from her loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the night bonus for the bout. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her next 3 fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
